Technical Details

The Honeywell Granit 1980i area imager does not quickly get cold feet, but rather, remains fully functional even in temperatures as low as -30 °C. When it comes to robustness, it leaves nothing to be desired: featuring IP65 certification, it repels the ingress of dust particles and splash water. It masters operations in raw environments and even repeated falls from heights up to 2 m do not slow it down.

With the full-range area-imaging technology you reliably capture both 1D and 2D barcodes at a distance ranging from 15 cm to 16 m, depending on the corresponding size. Therefore, it is no longer necessary to always get out of the forklift, or remove a pallet from its highly placed storage position. Connect the scanner to the host system via USB or RS232. An industrial-suitable connection cable ensures for the necessary safety, even under adverse conditions and large temperature fluctuations.
