The TM-U590 is a flatbed receipt printer for different types of records and forms. Using the dot matrix method it processes records of up to 5 layers in the size of DIN A4 (printing width 135.5 mm). Thus, it is ideally suited for trade, gastronomy as well as offices and administrations.

All records are printed bi-directionally with logical printhead positioning and a speed of up to 311 characters per second. The printer provides all functions for development of complex office solutions, e.g. for high-precision positioning of the printhead, overhead printing, printing of graphics and user-defined signs, etc. The mechanics and all functions of the TM-U590 are also part of the TM-H5000II, which, as a hybrid printer, also has a rapid thermal receipt printer. The TM-U590 also supports the well-known ESC/POS code.
