The Zebra ZT400 Series promises professional printing for production lines, packaging and shipping labels, in incoming goods and in healthcare. Protected within metal framed industrial-strength housing sits a highly developed direct thermal/thermal transfer printing machine. It is designed to deliver large label throughput at an incredibly high speed. With up to 356 mm per second the ZT410 is one of the tops in its class. The larger ZT420 also has an impressive speed of up to 305 mm per second.

With the ZT400 Series you print labels and tags with widths between 25 and 114 mm (ZT410), or 51 to 178 mm (ZT420). Loading and changing media is very easy, thanks to the hinged lid. And with the large viewing window you always have the remaining material in plain sight. Under poor lighting conditions the illuminated media and color ribbon paths provide enough light inside the printer for users to make the necessary changes. For more user-friendly operation there is the multi-line symbol-based LCD display in addition to the well laid out function keys.

The range of available printing resolutions (203 and 300 dpi, as well as 600 dpi for the ZT410), XML -compatible printing and RFID capabilities allow easy integration of the ZT400 midrange printers into a variety of applications. The supported programming languages ZPL, ZPLII and EPL ensure for communication with already existing system and software applications in a network. Wherever and however you use the ZT400 printers, the large number of interfaces and connectivity options ensure for smooth operation. The ZT400 comes standard with a USB and an RS232 interface, an Ethernet port for network functions, as well as Bluetooth. Optionally use the two free media slots for a bi-directional parallel port, a second network card or 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi. NFC capabilities for support and emergency assistance expand the capacity of the printer series.

The printers of the ZT400 Series are optimized for use with the Zebra Link-OS software environment. Link-OS comprises a software development kit and numerous practical applications for remote maintenance and printer management. The open printer architecture allows enough leeway for growing needs and future applications. For the ZT400 printers you receive numerous optional media holders for custom-fit usage in any application.
