With the elegant POS systems of the D series, Elo Touch Solutions is revolutionising the POS in retail, restaurants and hospitality environments. They combine flexibility, design and functionality, and feature a slim, vertical design with a footprint sized to match standard cash drawers, coupled with exceptional performance, enhanced field serviceability and extended connectivity options.

Different industry-leading Elo touch technologies are included in the D series: according to the requirements, you have AccuTouch (5-wire resistive) and IntelliTouch Plus (surface acoustic wave) at your disposal. All variants come from the manufacturer with spill-resistant sealing to meet the requirements for splash water protection in hospitality and the hotel industry.

The D series is equipped with a 2.5 GHz Intel Celeron Dual Core processor for high performance. Numerous optional peripherals, interface options and a memory capacity of 320 GB support you during the integration into demanding projects. The standard RAM of 2 GB can be expanded at any time up to 4 GB. You simply install a second HDD next to the standard hard drive and interlock them, to increase data security through mirroring.
Thanks to the large number of interfaces, the D series integrates itself into nearly any existing network. In addition to seven USB interfaces, you also have one parallel, two PS/2 and five serial ports (of which two are supplying voltage) at your disposal. Optionally install via USB a Wi-Fi stick for wireless operation. Connect a receipt printer via the 24 volt connection just as easily as you would for a cash drawer via the 12 V/24 V port.

The D series boasts outstanding cable management: the power supply sits inside the casing and the interfaces are concealed behind the I/O slot, so that the cords are neatly placed to the side. Plus, it has serviceable internal components, allowing for easy on-site maintenance of all the main components with just a few simple hand movements. The front cover provides quick access to the power supply and the hard drive. Via the back cover, you access the motherboard, memory slots and the three low-noise fans.
